3. Service Areas and Availability

Our services are available in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Howard County, and Anne Arundel County. Emergency services are available 24/7, while non-emergency services operate during business hours (6AM - 11PM Monday-Saturday, 2PM - 11PM Sunday). Response times may vary based on location, traffic, and current demand.

4. Pricing and Payment

We provide transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Emergency lockout services start at $49-$99 depending on location and time of day. We provide free estimates for non-emergency work before beginning any service. Payment is due upon completion of services. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payment apps (Venmo, Cash App). Commercial clients may qualify for invoicing with approved credit.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information about the service needed and location
• Ensuring safe access to the service location
• Payment for services rendered as agreed
• Notifying us of any special requirements or constraints
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations regarding property access

6. Warranties and Guarantees

All our services come with a satisfaction guarantee. We provide warranties on parts and labor, typically ranging from 90 days to 1 year depending on the service. Specific warranty terms will be explained before work begins. We stand behind the quality of our work and will address any issues that arise under warranty.

7. Limitation of Liability

Maryland Emergency Lock & Key shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not responsible for damages caused by third parties or events beyond our reasonable control.

8. Licensing and Insurance

We are fully licensed, bonded, and insured. All our technicians are certified by the Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA). We maintain comprehensive liability insurance for your protection. Maryland License #PL-2023-001.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Maryland Emergency Lock & Key and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate access, or cancel appointments at our discretion, including but not limited to cases of non-payment, abusive behavior, or illegal activities. Customers may also choose to discontinue our services at any time.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Baltimore County, Maryland.
